Alexandre’s career as a risk control consultant began after he graduated from l’Université de Sherbrooke with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering in 2002. He spent eight years as a loss prevention field engineer with FM Global, an international industrial and commercial property insurance carrier, and almost three years as a valued component of a multi-disciplinary team of professional risk consultants with international insurance broker Marsh.
His areas of technical specialization include the forest products industry – sawmills, pulp, paper, & paperboard mills, producers of engineered and traditional wood products, and wood bio-fuel plants. His expertise also extends into the aluminum, food processing, and general manufacturing occupancies.
In addition to his demonstrated consulting and risk assessment skills, as Vice President of The DART Group Inc., Alexandre spearheads the company’s business technology plan and manages its innovation needs. He is also a PECB-Certified, ISO 31000 Lead Risk Manager and has worked within the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework of multi-national organizations to help manage risks that might impact their long-term strategic success.
